Where can I find a nursery that sells Jambhul (Eugenia Jambolana) in the San Jose area?
My grandfather’s house had this Jamun tree. It’s good for diabetes! More reason to eat it. Can you buy it here?

Well, this fruite (Jamun) is good no doubt for the diabetec people.
But living in North America, i use vinigar of the jamun, cinimin and pure honey how
    1. add small cinamin in water boil it
    2. Add honey one spone or little more if you wish(but make sure should not too much)
    3. and add 2-3 tea spoons of Jamun-vinigar and drink it exmpty stomach. twice in a day or may be thrice a day, it will control your diabete for sure. NOOR Chaudhry 1-(780) 438-1228

Hi..here in India I don’t think any special care is needed for this tree, thoug I am not an expert at this!..I am not sure about the Houston climate; pls. refer the requirements here:http://www.gardenguides.com/taxonomy/java-plum-syzygium-cumini/. Hope this helps

You all won’t believe but I have drunk the whisky made from Jambhul, of course it was homemade one and can be found in western part of Thane district.
